A dad has gone viral after sharing his waste-free crust hack to appease the fussiest of eaters.
Steve Devereux often hits the headlines with his bizarre food concoctions.
Previously, the 46-year-old left social media users horrified after debuting lasagne crumpets – which many people called “crazy”.
But now, the technical manager, from Newcastle, has revealed a simple and useful hack for parents with fussy kids; garlic bread crusts.

In the clip shared on Instagram, which has racked up 23.5 million views and over 726,000 likes, he shows the quick method.
“My kids tell me they hate the crusts but little do they know they usually end up eating the same crusts I have cut off their sandwiches later that day,” the video is captioned.
He begins with making a ham and cheese sandwich, before cutting off the crusts, ensuring that it’s still in one piece.
Steve then rolls up the cut-offs into a spiral and pops them in a muffin tray, flattens them with the base of a cup, and pops garlic butter, as well as grated cheese, on top.

“Man I’d eat those before my kids do,” another user commented.
A fellow chef said: “I’m all for anything that is food waste-wise.”
