A British expat has slammed three activities on offer in Benidorm – calling them the “biggest rip-offs”.

Harry Poulton, who is known on TikTok as @harrytokky, has taken aim at a handful of popular tourist ventures.

The influencer, who lives full-time in the Spanish resort town, said hiring a party boat is “absolutely awful” and flipping around on an inflatable banana is not advisable when you’re “red raw with sunburn”.

But number one on Harry’s no-go list was parasailing, which he said was the “worst money” he’s ever spent, as reported by What’s The Jam.

“Absolutely awful,” Harry said in a video describing party boat hire.

“I couldn’t think of anything worse than spending three or four hours in the middle of the ocean getting absolutely hammered.

“I’d much rather save the 300 or 400 euros and get hammered in an actual bar on land here in Benidorm.

“Definitely one to avoid in my opinion.”

At number two, Harry highlighted that while banana boating is “great fun”, it should be avoided by people who have sunburn.

Harry said: “Take it from me – don’t go on a banana boat if you’re red raw with sunburn.

“It’s the worst thing you can ever do, it’s so painful.

“They’re great fun, but if you’re a wimp like me, you don’t want to be going around on one when you get a sunburn – trust me.

“You’ll regret it the next day.”

As for paragliding, he revealed he tried it once and ended up vomiting and begging to be brought down.

He added: “I’m speaking from experience.

“That was the worst water sports I have ever done in my whole entire life.

“Fifteen minutes of pure hell.

“It was awful.

“I was up there throwing up, begging to come down, and no one would get me down because they couldn’t hear a word I was saying.

“If you’re scared of heights or if you get seasick, I would avoid parasailing.

“It’s the worst money I have ever spent.”

Harry regularly shares travel tips with his 43,700 followers.

His video of tips to avoid amassed 23,300 views and lots of comments.
