An influencer recently shared a hilarious encounter during his visit to one of Turkey’s most unusual attractions – a “grumpy” dog affectionately known as The Boulder.
This canine has earned a five-star rating as a “must-see sight.”
Josef Andrew Miklavc, who goes by Josef Who on social media, frequently posts travel content, photos, and videos to his 2,000 followers.

The 29-year-old Australian has now gone viral after sharing his experience with this unique dog – with his video racking up over 1.3 million views.
“It was an incredible experience to see him in person; it’s one of those things you have to witness yourself to fully appreciate,” Josef told Luxury Travel Daily.
“My friend tried to pet the dog, but he responded with a raised lip.
“I think The Boulder was a bit grumpy about being woken up.
“I believe he’s a stray.”

Josef explained that he discovered this “attraction” online.
He said: “I stumbled upon the Google Maps pin while researching things to see in Istanbul.
“I showed it to my friends, and everyone was eager to check it out!

“It’s now one of those funny travel memories that I’ll never forget.
“As soon as we found The Boulder, other passersby and tourists started gathering around, curious about what had everyone so excited!”
In his video, Josef captures the sleepy dog from various angles.
He captioned the post: “Would you go see The Boulder?
“Located near Taksim Square on the northern side of Istanbul, this majestic creature awaits.
“Some experiences are beyond words, and this is definitely one of them.
“You have to see it to believe it, and you’ll be amazed by the grace, beauty, and tranquility of this magical being.
“If you’re in Istanbul, Turkey, Europe, or anywhere on this planet – this is a must-see attraction.
“Open 24/7 with no admission fee (yet), you’d be crazy not to visit The Boulder while you’re in town.
