Two Brits were left baffled after arriving at their holiday hot spot – only to discover that there were reportedly no other guests.
To make matters worse, the pool was closed and, due to it being low season, few bars or restaurants were open.
Tors Eardley, 20, and her friend, who requested to remain nameless, booked a holiday at Irene Apartments in Agios Gordios, Corfu, Greece, to spend a weekend in the sun.

But the duo, both from Stoke, didn’t realise what their stay would be outside the normal tourist season.
After flying from East Midlands airport and arriving at the hotel, they claim the receptionist said they were the only guests in the building.
The shocked pair were pleasantly surprised to be given quite a large room – before noticing their balcony was obstructed by a metal fence.
Despite their travel agent – Love Holidays – listing a pool at the hotel, it was reportedly shared with two other locations and was allegedly shut for the weekend due to maintenance.
In an effort to find food and drink, Tors and her friend wandered into the local town around 4pm, but found that all shops were closed due to locals taking a siesta.

“We booked a really cheap holiday to Corfu, and we’re in a town where there’s nothing open, no shops, no restaurants, no locals, there was no one even in the hotel,” Tors told What’s The Jam.
“We laughed for about an hour, then we realised we had no water and hardly any food [available in the area].
“We soon stopped laughing.

“The balcony had a metal fence at the back of it.
“There was no pool area as it was closed out of season.
“The room was big and had a nice big kitchen, but it was so dull.
“The receptionist didn’t stay on site, she went home so it was literally just us.”
The duo paid just £200 for four days abroad during the Easter bank holiday.
But they were left so disappointed, they decided to swap hotels in the end.
Tors said: “For £200 for four days on a bank holiday weekend, we can’t do too much complaining.
“The local area was lovely and would be nice in season when everything is open.
“It turns out that people have siestas so at about 6pm, two shops opened so we were able to get some food.
“[But] we ended up booking a different hotel so we could have a pool and we got a private pool so it went from a budget holiday to a boujee holiday.”
Despite the experience, the pair decided against complaining to Love Holidays and Irene apartments.
Tors said: “There was no point in complaining, the holiday cost so little that it wasn’t worth it.
“We paid £200 for two nights at a new hotel, the Agios Gordios beach resort.”
Tors and her pal travelled to the location during the Easter bank holiday.
Jam Press contacted Love Holidays, but a representative declined to comment.
Irene Apartments was also approached by Jam Press for comment but has not yet responded.
