Holidaymakers could squeeze in two days abroad over the August Bank Holiday without booking any time off work.
Flights to destinations including Mallorca, Malaga and Alicante are available from less than £40 one way.
But travellers would need to plan their journey carefully to take advantage of what easyJet has called the “Bank Holiday Loophole”.

The idea is aimed at people who normally work from Monday to Friday, as reported by What’s The Jam.
They could fly from the UK on Friday evening or Saturday morning, spend much of the weekend overseas and return before Bank Holiday Monday.
That would allow them to take a short European break without using their annual leave – while potentially keeping Monday free to recover before returning to work.
Many of the destinations included in easyJet’s list can be reached in less than three hours, although some of the longer journeys take more than four hours.
The airline has published a selection of one-way fares available from airports across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The cheapest is a flight from Liverpool to Mallorca from £31.99 one way.
Other options include Manchester to Malaga from £39.99, Birmingham to Gran Canaria from £44.99 and London Luton to Faro from £47.99.
However, the advertised prices cover only the outbound journey, meaning passengers must also find and pay for a suitable return flight.

Accommodation, airport transfers and spending money are not included either.
easyJet said it would operate more than 800,000 seats from the UK during the Bank Holiday weekend, six per cent more than last year.
The airline is also offering 56 more destinations, including new routes to Preveza in Greece, Reus in Spain and Ljubljana in Slovenia.
Amsterdam and Paris are said to be among the most popular choices for shorter weekend trips.
Tony Hopkins, trading and development director at easyJet holidays, said: “More people are looking to make the most of Bank Holiday weekends, and it’s easy to see why.
“A short break offers the chance to switch off, explore somewhere new and enjoy great value, all without using a single day’s annual leave.”
