A woman has gone viral after sharing the brutal reality of getting a pricey nose job to the tune of £5,400 – and people are shocked by what the recovery is really like.
Tiffany Wallace used to hate seeing photos of her side profile.
After years of feeling insecure about her appearance, the 38-year-old influencer and fitness coach, who has 53,6000 followers, went under the knife for a rhinoplasty.

And the recovery is no joke, with Tiffany sharing every step online – from a clip of her painfully washing out her stitches to why she can’t sneeze into a tissue.
“I was always aware of [my nose],” Tiffany told What’s The Jam.

“I’d catch a [photo showing my] side profile and think, ‘I just don’t love that’.
“It was something I sat with for years before deciding to make a change.
“The first few days [after surgery] were the hardest – breathing was tough because of the stents.

“My face and lips were also numb from the anesthesia, and even simple things like eating, drinking and brushing my teeth felt like an adjustment.

“My nose had lingering blood and weird ‘boogery-slime’ coming out, and changing the bandage without pulling a stitch was a whole experience.”
Due to swelling, the change to Tiffany’s appearance wasn’t immediate.

She started noticing a huge difference by week three and four when her facial mobility returned.
Tiffany, who lives with her husband Reid and their two dogs, Layla and Myles, has said that despite feeling insecure, she still loved herself prior to her surgery.

The influencer, who is from Wilmington, North Carolina, said: “My confidence never depended on this surgery but it did take away an insecurity I had carried for years.
She booked her surgery with Dr Casey Shek.
Before documenting her surgery online, Tiffany only had 6,000 followers but now has over 50,000 fans following her journey.
She said: “’I’m really glad I’ve documented the entire journey so far.

“I know it’s helped so many people who just wanted a real, honest perspective on what getting a nose job is actually like.
“The biggest thing I’d want people to know is that this was my decision.
“I went into it from a place of self-acceptance, not insecurity.
“I loved myself before and I love myself now.
“I just like my photos more and won’t have to delete as many side profile pictures now.
“I’m really happy with it [my nose[.
“It still looks like me, just refined in a way that fits my face better.”
Social media viewers are flocking to Tiffany’s page to react to her videos.
