A volunteer firefighter suffered an epic fail while trying to save a cat stuck in a tree.
The marooned moggy was trapped sitting at the far end of a thin branch.
The worried cat’s owner was seen standing below the branch with a large padded jacket to catch it in.

The cat meowed and nervously shifted its body on the branch as its rescuer approached.
The man tried to shake the cat from the tree, but apparently lost his balance and grabbed hold of the thin branch to save himself.
But the branch broke and both the cat and its rescuer fell to the pavement below with a crash.
The cat was seen jumping to its feet and running off as the man remained motionless on the ground.
Despite his apparent pain, the filming onlookers were heard laughing at his bungled rescue attempt.

The victim, who serves as a volunteer firefighter on weekends, did not suffer any serious injuries in the fall, according to reports.
The clumsy cat rescue was filmed in Odesa, south of Kyiv, Ukraine, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local said: “The owner didn’t care about the rescuer, she just watched her cat get up.”

Irina added:” No cat has ever died in a tree, it will scream, get hungry and come down.”
