Tom Kerridge has launched a budget menu at one of his gastro pubs.
But customers say it’s still too expensive and the portions are tiny.
The TV cook has launched a lunch deal at the Hand of Flowers.

He normally charges up to £195-a-head there for Sunday lunch and his house menu.
But now, diners can get two courses on the Set Lunch dishes for £25 or three for £35.
The starter is Chanterelle, Cep and Salted Egg Yolk Tart.
It is followed by Herb Crusted Roast Cornish Cod with White Beans, Bay Leaf and Lemon Soubise for main.
The dessert is Olive Oil Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate.

But there are hidden extras, like an extra starter of The Hand & Flowers Sausage Roll, which is £8.50.
Plus there are sides of Buttered Hispi Cabbage or Mash Potato – £7.50.
And The Hand & Flowers Triple Cooked Chips priced at £12.50.

Plus drinks are on top too.
With all the extras, the food for a meal for two would still be £114.50, before adding beverages.
Foodies didn’t think it was that good a deal at the two Michelin-starred restaurant, in upmarket Marlow, Bucks, as reported on What’s The Jam.
Matthew Bartlett fumed: “Such baby portions.
“More like a canapé and a pre-dessert with a starter instead of a main.”
Kerridge, 52, hit back online and said: “So you can eat all 3 courses…..
“It’s not an all you can eat buffet bud.”
Another added: “Twenty five pounds is good value.
“Though it looks tiny.
“But £7.50 for a scoop of ice cream come on.”
Janet Forbes added: “Nothing there appeals at all.”
Nigel Tatton said: “Why don’t you give your head a shake

Jack Hunter added: “Two Michelin stars, really?”
Yet others liked the deal.
Rhys Parker said: “That’s outrageous value.”

Ted added: “Actually fair play, credit where it’s due.
“Finally something affordable and sensibly priced at this place.”
A spokesperson for the pub said: “Tom Kerridge and head chef Sarah Hayward introduce the very special new set lunch menu at the Hand of Flowers.

“Two courses for £25 and three for £32.50 available January to March.
“What a menu to start 2026 with, a dining experience to look forward to with us.”
In June 2022, Kerridge was criticised for a similar fish and chips meal at his old Harrods eatery.
That was also £35, then 16 months later, he hiked the price to £37.
