A singer was left terrified as her private jet depressurised mid-flight and had to make an emergency landing.
Natalia Jiménez survived two consecutive mid-air mechanical failures that forced emergency landings on separate private aircraft in a single day.
The celebrated Spanish singer-songwriter was travelling to a scheduled performance in Fresnillo, Mexico, last Friday when she encountered the mid-air drama.

Her initial flight from Mexico City was grounded due to technical issues.
The former La Quinta Estación lead singer boarded a replacement aircraft, but faced a life-threatening crisis just hours later.
In a series of emotional videos shared with her 3.2m Instagram fans, Natalia appeared shaken and trembling as she recounted the ordeal.
The 44-year-old said: “I saw my life flash before my eyes; it got very ugly in there.”
She described a harrowing scene inside the cabin of the second aircraft, involving loud mechanical noises, extreme temperatures, and smoke.

According to the singer, both incidents were caused by a faulty pressurisation valve.
The malfunction on the second flight triggered emergency alarms as the cabin began to fill with smoke, forcing the pilot to execute an immediate emergency descent and landing.
Despite reporting the valve issue on the first plane, the replacement aircraft suffered the exact same technical breakdown while airborne, according to the singer.

Passengers reported intense heat and the smell of smoke before the emergency was declared.
Pilots followed strict safety protocols to ensure a controlled landing; no injuries were reported among the star’s team or the crew, as reported by Whats The Jam.
While aviation authorities have not yet released a formal statement regarding the private charter company involved, the incident has caused significant emotional distress to the singer.
Natalia noted that the experience was particularly traumatic following the tragic death of her close friend, Colombian artist Yeison Jiménez, in a similar light aircraft crash in January this year.
The singer confirmed that she and her team are physically safe, though she admitted to being “very scared” and “wanting to cry” following the double escape.
It remains unclear if her performance in Zacatecas will be rescheduled.
