Manchester City star Omar Marmoush has been caught in a parking howler after his £200,000 car was clamped.
The 27-year-old was caught out by the council, which left the Egyptian ace with a lock on his wheel and a ticket on his windscreen.
The winger, who signed for City in January 2025 for £59m, had parked his 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 MHEV down a back street in the city centre.

The £200,000 motor was spotted with the clamp on South King Street, Manchester, as reported by Whats The Jam.
The vehicle was spotted in a ‘loading only’ bay on 14 Aug around 20:30 pm.

Manchester City Council’s removal fee for a clamp can reach up to £105 if the owner fails to contact them within 24 hours.
The car will then be towed to the pound where the owner will be charged £12 a day until the vehicle is collected.
The standard removal fee starts at £40.

The clamp could serve as a sour end to Marmoush’s time in Manchester with the star reportedly on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur.
The winger came on against Arsenal in the second half of his side’s 3-0 loss to the Premier League Champions in the Community Shield.
Despite being subbed on in the 51st minute at 3-0, the Egyptian had little impact on the match, which took place on 16 Aug – days after his vehicle was clamped.

This is not the first time the forward has been caught out for his parking in Manchester.
He’s previously been caught three times on camera for parking irresponsibly.
Tottenham have now agreed a deal to sign Marmoush from City, according to Sky Sports.
The Egyptian is set to undergo a medical ahead of joining Spurs on an initial season-long loan.
The agreement includes a £60m obligation to make the transfer permanent.
Marmoush has reportedly said goodbye to his City teammates and been granted permission to complete the medical.
If the deal goes through, he will be reunited with former City teammate Savinho, who has already completed his move to Tottenham.
Neither club had formally announced Marmoush’s transfer at the time of writing.
