A man who stands at 7ft 1in and ‘can’t fit’ on planes was left shocked as another passenger gave up her seat for him.
Beau Brown is no stranger to the problems that plague people of extreme heights.
The influencer has to manoeuvre and duck around door frames, building exits and low-hanging ceilings on a daily basis – and also, isn’t able to “fit” on planes.

The 33-year-old was recently travelling from Los Angeles back to Atlanta, which involves a five-hour flight.
He would’ve been “forced” to spend the lengthy journey confined in the tight space, but then a kind passenger offered up her seat for him.
“She heard me talking to the person next to me and noticed how I didn’t fit in,” Beau, who has seven million followers, told What’s The Jam.

“I had actually already been recording on my POV camera because, funny enough, I forgot to stop pressing the record.
“It was only until after this whole thing that I realised I was recording.

“And I got excited because people could see a positive video, and sort of what I deal with in real time.
“Air travel has always been a very stressful thing for me.
“Often, if I’m not able to get an exit row, it is a very unpleasant flight.

“My knees are up against the back of the seat [in front of me] or the person’s armrest [next to me].
“It even creates marks on my legs, as I sort of have to pretzel my legs to be able to sit.
“And I don’t actually fit in any economy seats because my legs are too long.
“I’m forced to pay more for an exit row or comfort plus seats.
“I’ve even had to spend hundreds more to get first class because no other seat was available – it’s pretty stressful.”
Beau’s flight was made a lot easier after the seat swap, as he was able to have proper leg room for someone of his height, and it removed a lot of the stress from his travels.
The influencer, from California, US, said: “Before I would’ve just been stressing about the possibility of the person in front of me putting their seat back.
“Then, it’s having to deal with them being upset that they couldn’t put their seat back because it’s against my knees and having them roll their eyes or say something mean.
“It’s happened many times in the past.”
Beau shared the video and racked up 8.1 million views, as well as over 567,000 likes.
One person said, “What a gem of a lady!”

Laura added, “This queen is equivalent to tall guys who intentionally stand to the side or somewhere they aren’t blocking the view at concerts.”
Annie commented: “But you had to give up a seat next to a dog!!!! Dog seat first for me lol”
Another person said, “She’s not slick, she just wanted to sit next to Dottie.”

One user added: “As a 5”3 gal, I’m getting dizzy just from your camera point of view.”
Beau also faces difficulty when trying to use the aeroplane toilets and once got stuck for five minutes as he wasn’t able to move due to his size.
He added: “A lot of people don’t realise that when you physically can’t change the way you were born, a lot of things can be inconvenient, and airplanes are probably the most inconvenient.
“So maybe if you see somebody who is very tall and struggling to sit behind you, and you can comfortably fit in that seat, maybe out of the goodness of your heart, switch with them.
“Because no matter what, you were going to be comfortable anyway, and you just made that tall person’s day.
“Just imagine being stuck on a plane for five [or more] hours and not being able to move your legs or feet.
“I’m not playing the pity party, but it really does suck sometimes.”
