In a bizarre twist of fate, an ex-deep sea fisherman has won $1m (approximately £788,500) after buying a “Jaws” scratch card.
Michael Stephens says he is going to share his newfound fortune with his family and travel the globe with his wife.
Although he won $1m, he chose to receive a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.

Earlier this month, a single dad also won $1m after popping into his local store to get a salad and spontaneously buying a ticket.
Brant Edgington went to the Baker’s grocery store in Fremont, Nebraska, for a spot of lunch when he took a chance and decided to play the Mega Millions.
He had no idea that he would walk away with the jackpot.
While his dad and granddad frequently like to play the Mega Millions and Powerball, Brant himself usually only gets a ticket if “the jackpot gets high”, adding that he “wasn’t expecting to buy a ticket at all”.
He said: “I don’t play all that often.
“As a single parent, bologna is more important, financially.”
Brant claimed the prize on 5 April – it was part of the 22 March draw for Mega Millions, according to the Nebraska Lottery.
