For those new to diving, the vessel has a PADI-certified dive centre, where guests can earn their certification mid-expedition.

Onboard dining is led by Indonesian gourmet chefs, who source fresh ingredients from local markets and fishermen.

Guests can enjoy a customised menu blending local and international cuisine.

Each expedition aboard Lamima is tailored to a person’s specific needs and EYOS offer optional expert guides to elevate the journey even further.

The vessel is available exclusively for private groups, with weekly rates from £159,000, plus 12% tax.

Lamima was built by hand on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, east of Borneo, and launched in 2014.

Local artisans used traditional boatbuilding methods under the guidance of master builder, Pak Haji Baso.

The vessel was designed in collaboration with Spanish designer Marcelo Penna and showcases over 900 square metres of usable space.

Ben Lyons, the CEO of EYOS Expeditions said that sailing onboard Lamima was “one of the highlights” of his life.

He said: “Lamima is, first and foremost, beautiful.

“Her elegant lines culminating in the lengthy bowsprit, punctuated by the towering masts, seem almost timeliness and completely in harmony with the surrounding Indonesian landscape.

“Sailing onboard Lamima was – in all sincerity – one of the highlights of my life, and I could not be more proud to have her join our fleet.

“Widely regarded as the top phinisi in Indonesia, Lamima provides not just impeccable service and indulgent comfort.

“Rather, she provides a window into Indonesia, connecting her guests with the destination, above and below water.

“Her crew were the warmest and most welcoming of any yacht I’ve ever seen; she is truly something special.”
