A 23-year-old woman has fallen head over heels in love with an elderly resident at the care home where she worked.
The young woman, known online as Xiaofang, met her 80-year-old beau, while volunteering at a retirement home.
After spending some time with Mr Li, she realised they shared many of the same interests and hobbies.

Their friendship quickly developed into a budding romance and the couple has reportedly tied the knot despite their 57-year age gap.
Xiaofang, who regularly posts romantic images of the pair on social media, said she was attracted to her elderly partner’s maturity and wisdom.
She stated: “I just want to have him always by my side.”
Meanwhile, the OAP is said to be somewhat smitten with his young bride’s youthfulness and kindhearted nature.
However, her family did not approve of the union and refused to attend the wedding, according to Xiaofang.

They married in a low-key ceremony in China’s Hebei Province without both families attending, as reported by What’s the Jam.
Their relationship has also sparked fierce debate on Chinese social media.
Many users claimed Xiaofang married the OAP for financial reasons, however, she pointed out that she is the breadwinner of the family.

Because of his advanced age and ill health, Mr. Li has to rely on a small pension every month so his wife pays most of the bills.
In response, some locals accused her of using the relationship to build up a large online following that she could later monetise.
Other users said Xiaofang’s constant posts about her relationship with Mr Li are proof enough that their love is true.
