A brave man chased away a deadly leopard after it grabbed his pet dog.
The horror attack was captured on a CCTV camera in his garden.
The pooch is seen relaxing on a rug on the outside porch.
For 15 seconds of the video it is a peaceful scene.

But the big cat suddenly appears from behind.

The leopard then makes its move and quietly sneaks up to the dog.
It sinks its jaws into the unsuspecting canine’s neck and jumps down onto the lawn to drag it away for its dinner.
However, the owner runs out of the house to chase the leopard away as the 41 second clip comes to an end.

It forces it to release the dog and scarper off the property in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, India, on 20 January.
The dog then springs to its paws and runs to safety miraculously unharmed.
