A treasure trove of iconic Star Trek memorabilia is going under the hammer.
The auction, hosted by Julien’s Auctions and Infinity Festival, is set to showcase a whole collection of iconic, rare pieces.
But they won’t be going cheap — with some carrying a price tag of over £50,000.

Over 200 authentic items will be up for grabs, including the classic red, velour tracksuit.
Aptly named Bid Long and Prosper, the auction even includes Captain James T. Kirk’s “phaser and communicator” prop used during the production of the original Star Trek TV series.
The auction will precede a screening of Star Trek: The Motion Picture — The Director’s Edition at the Dolby Vine Screening Room.
Producer, David C. Fein spearheaded the 4K DolbyVision/Dolby Atmos version of director Robert Wise’s 1979 film and will deliver introductory remarks before the screening.
Other items include the Dr Leonard McCoy space suit, priced at $40,000 (£30,613) to $60,000 (£45,915), a space station miniature expected to go for as much as $70,000 (£53,567.50) and a Spock robe that could set you back a whopping $15,000 (£11,478.75).

But the real star of the shower is the legendary phaser.
William Shatner, who played Kirk, recorded a video for Julien’s Auctions.
In the video, Shatner holds the long-lost communicator in his hand for the first time in more than 60 years.

It is set to be auctioned off at $100,000 (£76,525).
“Star Trek has always been a beacon for what’s possible when technology and human imagination work together to explore the unknown,” said Adam Newman, Chief Creative Officer of Infinity Festival.
“This partnership with Julien’s Auctions brings that spirit to life by giving fans and technologists a chance to celebrate the innovation and wonder that has defined the franchise for decades.”
Julien’s Auctions is set to hold the event on November 9 in Los Angeles, California, US, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The Infinity Festival will take place from November 6-9 at The Aster in Hollywood.
