A teen has become the youngest British woman to surf the world’s biggest waves.
Robyn Larg (corr) successfully took on the 25ft high monster ones.
The 18-year-old comes from a surfing family along with brother Ben and parents Iona and Marti.

A video shows her facing the fearsome Atlantic waves at Nazare, north of Lisbon, Portugal.
And she was towed out by Ben, who had just come third in the world championships there.
The video shows Robyn as she sped across the huge breakers, famous for their size and power, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Afterwards, Robyn said: “That was cool, amazing.
“That’s definitely the biggest wave I’ve surfed, one hundred per cent.”

Ben, 20, who travels the world with the Red Bull team added, ‘she’s a natural’.
Robyn and her brother were taught to surf by their mum and dad on the Isle of Tiree, Argyll.
Mum, Iona, said: “Nazare is famous for the size of its waves.

“They are phenomenal.
“So for Robyn to surf there at just 18 is incredible.
“She’s the youngest British woman to do it.”
Nazaré’s waves are listed in the Guinness Book of Records for the biggest waves ever surfed.
In 2020, German surfer Sebastian Steudtner set a record by surfing an 86-foot-high wave.
In 2024, Steudtner once again rode potentially the biggest wave ever recorded, which measured 93.7ft.
But this wave has yet to be declared as the official world record.
In 2020 Brazilian surfer Maya Gabeira set the record for biggest wave surfed by a woman on a wave that measured 73.5 ft.
