A superyacht has been made which is virtually silent – but it costs a whopping £62m.

The Headship Stella M is nearly 72 metres long and boasts six cabins that can sleep up to 14 people.

It is spread over five decks and two of them have plunge pools.

But the most striking feature is not something you can see, or hear.

It prides itself on its “remarkably low noise and vibration levels.”

It is not for sale though as it has already been snapped up by its mega-rich new owner.

The buyer even helped in the design of the luxury vessel.

They are set to pootle around the Med in it for the rest of the summer, as reported on Whats The Jam.

A spokesperson for Feadship said: “We are pleased to announce the delivery of Stella M to her owner on 5 August.

“Measuring 71.76 metres, this contemporary and forward-thinking Feadship reflects a clear vision of modern luxury.

“Designed by Studio De Voogt, Stella M pairs elegant exterior lines with five decks of open, light-filled interior space.”

They added: “Her next-generation diesel-electric propulsion system supports quieter and cleaner cruising, building on Feadship’s unmatched experience in hybrid innovation.

“The project was developed in close collaboration with Burgess, who represented the owner throughout the build, and Hugo-Morgan Harris as technical representative.

“The result is a yacht that combines impressive volume with refined styling and a layout tailored for multi-generational living.”

Maarten Janssen, Feadship Sales Director, said: “The successful delivery of Stella M reflects seamless collaboration between the owner, the yard, design teams, technical experts, and broker.

“Every detail was shaped by a shared ambition to create something exceptional.

“Her advanced diesel-electric propulsion system has resulted in remarkably low noise and vibration levels, as confirmed during sea trials.

“The owner brought a clear vision and personal touch to the project, contributing thoughtfully throughout.

“Stella M is a refined and distinctive yacht, ready to begin her first Mediterranean season.”

Richard Lambert, Senior Partner at Burgess, said: “We were pleased to support the owner on his build journey – from initial enquiry to delivery – and be a part of such an exceptional project.

“Her Dutch pedigree coupled with complete collaboration between all parties resulted in vessel that meets the owner’s forward-thinking vision.”
