A superyacht has been made which is virtually silent – but it costs a whopping £62m.
The Headship Stella M is nearly 72 metres long and boasts six cabins that can sleep up to 14 people.
It is spread over five decks and two of them have plunge pools.

But the most striking feature is not something you can see, or hear.
It prides itself on its “remarkably low noise and vibration levels.”
It is not for sale though as it has already been snapped up by its mega-rich new owner.
The buyer even helped in the design of the luxury vessel.
They are set to pootle around the Med in it for the rest of the summer, as reported on Whats The Jam.

A spokesperson for Feadship said: “We are pleased to announce the delivery of Stella M to her owner on 5 August.

“Designed by Studio De Voogt, Stella M pairs elegant exterior lines with five decks of open, light-filled interior space.”

They added: “Her next-generation diesel-electric propulsion system supports quieter and cleaner cruising, building on Feadship’s unmatched experience in hybrid innovation.

“The project was developed in close collaboration with Burgess, who represented the owner throughout the build, and Hugo-Morgan Harris as technical representative.
“The result is a yacht that combines impressive volume with refined styling and a layout tailored for multi-generational living.”
