A rare Ferrari has tripled in value in just eight years after it fetched £4.9m at auction.

The silver LaFerrari Aperta is one of only 210 made as a soft top.

When it was bought in 2017 it cost £1.47m.

It has only had one owner since and they have now made a profit of £3.3m on the hybrid motor.

Its 6.3-litre V-12 engine means it can go a top whack of 217mph.

And it rockets from 0-60mph as quickly as it goes up in price too.

It can do it in a mere 2.4 seconds.

The Ferrari has only done 2,442 miles too.

The model is popular with A-Listers like TV chef Gordon Ramsay, actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and ex-Spurs player Heung-min Son.
