A video has been captured showing the heart-stopping moment a man came face-to-face with a polar bear.
The clip, which has racked up over 2m views and 66,000 likes, shows how the ordeal went down.
In the video, the man is shown standing in the middle of the road as he films the polar bear walking through the snow.

He carries on until the mammal spots him and begins to walk in his direction.
The man cautiously backs up as the bear gets closer.
Thankfully, though, the fluffy animal decides to walk away.
A second clip shows the incident from a different angle, where dogs can be heard howling in the background.

It’s believed a bystander caught the ordeal on 14 December 2024 in Chukotka, Russia, reports What’s The Jam.
