A SpongeBob SquarePants-themed KFC pop-up has opened its doors.
The fast-food outlet has transformed one of its branches into ‘Bikini Bottom’ to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the animated series.
SpongeBob’s character in the cartoon works as a cook in fast-food joint Krusty Krab in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom.

The show-themed KFC, located in Monterrey, Mexico, opened on Tuesday 2 July as reported by What’s The Jam.
Images of the makeover have made their way onto social media, where diners can enjoy a bucket of chicken alongside SpongeBob and friends such as Squidward, Sandy, Patrick, Mr. Krabs and pet snail Gary, in his pineapple home.
The restaurant also has themed glasses, plates, tables and figurines of the characters from the Nickelodeon show.
This is the second SpongeBob-themed restaurant, the first was in Guadalajara, and is open until July 22.
