A humanoid robot suffered an embarrassing tumble during a runway show.
Footage shows the android strolling through a packed plaza, navigating a path lined with crowd-control stanchions as scores of curious onlookers watch.
Dressed in black, it pauses to pose for the cameras in front of two men who look like bodyguards.

As it raises a hand to acknowledge the crowd, its back arches – and then it topples, landing on its knees before face-planting.
Handlers then rush over, lifting it like a plank, with two men holding it and a third following behind.
The gaffe involved XPeng Motors’ IRON humanoid robot and occurred in Shenzhen, China, on Saturday (31 Jan).
After the blunder, XPeng Motors VP Yu Tao quipped: “After this fall, no one would doubt it’s a robot and not a human in disguise.”
IRON is XPeng Motors’ first mass-production-grade humanoid robot.

It debuted in November 2024 and is scheduled for large-scale production by the end of this year.
Built to human proportions, it stands 5’10” and weighs 11st, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Despite its recent stumble, its creators claim it can grip raw eggs without breaking them and thread a needle with tweezers.

Viewers were quick with their reactions. One of them joked: “Why is the walk so seductive?
“As a woman, who would ultimately make the decision of buying a robot for my home, I would not want this seductive robot walking around my husband and kid.”
Another person quipped: “It fainted from the public pressure.”
A third viewer joked: “When the edibles kick in.”
A fourth person wondered: “Why’d they give it boobs and a dumper?”
And a fifth viewer cracked: “Meh, good enough. Looks like I won’t be single for too long.”
