A humanoid robot dubbed an “influencer” has been spotted chasing off a herd of wild boars in a surreal scene.
The mechanical patrolman – known as Edward Warchocki – stunned onlookers as he attempted to scare the animals away from the streets of Warsaw, Poland.
Footage shows the robot marching towards the boars before shouting “go away!” in Polish as they scatter towards nearby woodland.

Wearing a backpack, helmet lights and knee pads, the robo-ranger even raises a fist in mock frustration when the animals outrun him.
The bizarre clip, filmed on Sunday evening (12 April), has since racked up a staggering 5.4million views on TikTok.
Edward has already built a huge online following, boasting around 280,000 fans on TikTok and 146,000 on Instagram.
The 1.3-metre-tall machine is a customised Unitree G1 robot created by tech developers Radosław Grzelaczyk and Bartosz Idzik, as reported by What’s The Jam.
They said: “Edward Warchocki is a humanoid robot who has become a viral figure on the Polish internet.

“We developed the robot’s proprietary software, its so-called ‘brain’, and Edward Warchocki walks around cities, interacts with passersby, and engages them in conversations.
“He has appeared in the Polish parliament, on TV shows, and even football matches.
“He is the first humanoid robot in Poland to operate as an influencer.”

Warsaw has long battled a growing wild boar problem, with more than 2,500 believed to be roaming the city.
Officials say over 3,000 incidents involving the animals were reported in just the first three months of 2026.
Experts noted the boars largely ignored the slow-moving robot until it got very close – raising questions over its effectiveness in real-world situations.
But whether it’s a glimpse into a futuristic world or just a viral stunt, Edward has certainly given Warsaw’s unwanted visitors something to think about.
