A have-a-go hero has knocked out a thief with a flying kick.
The crusading citizen spotted the suspect allegedly stealing a handbag from a shop.
He took dramatic action against the thief while an eagle-eyed cop was in the process of feeling his collar.
The CCTV clip shows the suspect taking the bag from the shop display before continuing along the pavement.

The cop is seen following closely behind after apparently observing the theft.
Just as the officer confronts the suspect, the have-a-go hero is seen crossing the road in a blue T-shirt.
He runs towards the thief and launches himself into the air.
The man then fly kicks the suspect to the ground.

He takes the handbag from the thief, apparently knocked out, and goes to return it to the store as the video comes to an end.
The foiled theft was filmed in the city of Pereira, located west of the Colombian capital Bogotá, as reported by What’s the Jam.
Charlie said: “He must have felt that kick.”
