Handwritten lyrics to Oasis‘ biggest hit Wonderwall are for sale – and they are set to fetch thousands.
The 1995 tune was penned by Noel Gallagher at the height of the band’s fame.
It is the group’s most-streamed track in the UK and one of the UK’s best-selling singles of all time.

Now the lyrics and a chord sheet written in black and blue ink by the singer and songwriter are being auctioned off.
They have a guide price of £1,500 but at the time of writing had a current bid of £2,600.

The listing reads: “A sheet of lyrics and a chord sheet for the song “Wonderwall,” handwritten in black and blue ink by Noel Gallagher of Oasis.
“The song served as the fourth single from the band’s second studio album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, released October 30, 1995, and is regarded as the band’s most popular single to date.”
The lyrics are penned on lined A4 paper, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Noel’s handwritten lyrics to Champagne Supernova, Don’t Look Back in Anger, Hello, and Morning Glory are for sale too.

And acoustic guitar owned by him and a Gianni Versace jacket worn by his brother Liam is being auctioned.

The guitar had a guide price of £36,000 and a current bid of £6,000.

The jacket had a guide price of £1,500 and a current bid of £380.

They are part of a music icons auction of 600 lots which also includes handwritten lyrics by legend Bob Dylan and artwork by Nirvana’s tragic frontman, Kurt Cobain.
They are all being sold by Julien’s Auctions on 30 and 31 May in New York.
Oasis formed in Manchester in 1991 and became one of the defining bands of the Britpop era.
It split in 2009 after brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher fell out.
Last year, a reunion was announced with an upcoming series of tour dates in the UK and Ireland in July and August.
