A four-year-old girl has become the youngest person to reach the Mount Everest base camp.
Pint-sized climber Zara Šifra accomplished the feat with her seven-year-old brother Saša.
Both siblings managed to make it to the camp, at an altitude of around 17,598 feet.
The young siblings did it with their dad David.

“In total, we climbed over 20,000 metres, while the base camp is located at 5,364 metres above sea level.
“There was no problem during the climb, the acclimatisation went above average.
“Zara, thanks to her very good physical condition, even outpaced, with a few exceptions, hundreds of other climbers.
“Incredibly, Zara constantly received some gifts and congratulations from other trekkers.”
He added: “How is it possible that a four-year-old girl could physically and mentally manage something like this?”
Zara has Czech and Canadian citizenship and lives in Malaysia with her parents.
Mount Everest is the world’s highest mountain peak at 29,031 feet.
Prisha Lokesh Nikajoo held the record for being the youngest person to climb to Everest’s base camp in 2023 when she was five-years-old.
When asked if he plans to contact Guinness World Records about Zara’s bid, David said: “Yes, we’ll see how it goes.”
