Firefighters have been inundated with praise after they were filmed keeping Aussies cool in a rather untraditional way.
As temperatures soared to 40°C in Manly, Sydney, a crew was spotted parking its firetruck in a residential street before setting up a large water slide mat on a grass verge.
There was even an inflatable swimming pool at the end.

In the footage, a dozen young men can be seen standing around the slide in their swimming trunks.
Some residents can be seen with pool floats and lilos.
One firefighter stands at the side of the truck and fires his hose.
Everyone appears to enjoy sliding down the water slide and crashing into the inflatable pool.
Some of them even run back to the beginning so they can go again.

Firefighters set up the slide in a bid to help keep people cool as they dealt with scorching temperatures on 26 January.
According to the Met Office, temperatures in Sydney are expected to reach 41 degrees celsius this week.
Since the video has been shared online, it has attracted over two million views.
