A Ferrari has smashed a record by becoming the most expensive new one ever sold at auction – costing £19m.
This stunning 2025 Daytona SP3 is now the most expensive new Ferrari to have ever been sold.
The successful bidder won the chance to get their hands on an additional car added to the sold-out allocation of the 599 models ever made.

The luxury car manufacturer will donate the huge proceeds to the Ferrari Foundation.
This particular model was constructed by the Ferrari’s Tailor Made customisation programme.
The Daytona is kitted out with a hair-raising mid-mounted 6.5-litre V-12 engine.

The motor possesses an incredible 829bhp and has a top speed of 211mph.
In just 2.85 seconds the rapid ride can shift from naught to 60mph.

The exterior is a two-tone combination of exposed carbon fibre and the Giallo Modena colourway.
The interior is finished in an innovative fabric derived from recycled tires and accented by carbon fibre.
The motor was snapped up at auction on (16 Aug), as reported by Whats The Jam.

The bidding took place at RM Sotheby’s Monterey, California event.
A spokesperson for RM Sotheby’s said: “This evening, RM Sotheby’s, in partnership with Ferrari, set a new world record as a one-of-one 2025 Tailor Made Ferrari Daytona SP3 sold for $26 million, becoming the highest-priced new Ferrari ever sold at auction
“All proceeds from the record-breaking sale will benefit The Ferrari Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to advancing educational programs and community projects worldwide.”
