An extremely rare Bugatti – one of three ‘mythical’ examples left on the planet – is heading under the hammer for £1.75m.

This exceptional 1999 Bugatti EB112 presents a rare chance of getting your hands on one of the brand’s most unique rides.

Despite being 27 years old,k the motor has just 23 miles on the clock and has had just two previous owners.

This particular EB112 is one of just three versions left, as reported by Whats The Jam.

The motor is kitted out with a 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V-12 engine producing an impressive 460 brake horsepower.

The Bugatti also has a roaring top speed of 186mph and can jump from nought to 62mph in just 4.3 seconds.

This particular example was completed for Monegasque businessman Gildo Pallanca Pastor, who retained it until 2015.

The EB112 also features four doors – making this sale the only opportunity to possess and drive a modern Bugatti saloon.

The exterior is finished in an eye-catching black, whilst the interior reflects the luxury status of the legendary French car manufacturer.

The motor is set to feature at the Monaco Auction, hosted by RM Sotheby’s.

The ride will be offered on 25 Apr, with a guide price of £1.75m.

A spokesperson for RM Sotheby’s said: “Technologically fascinating, visually unmistakable, and incredibly exclusive, it is everything a Bugatti should be – and with the first EB112 in the collection of Italdesign and the second in private ownership, the opportunity to acquire an example such as this is exceedingly rare indeed.

“To keen enthusiasts, it would have been truly exciting to spot this near-mythical machine in motion, while more casual onlookers must have been baffled by such a distinctive, unfamiliar car wearing a horseshoe grille and Bugatti badges.”
