A sapphire ring owned by Elvis Presley worth an eye-watering £65,000 is set to hit auction.
The King of Rock and Roll himself sported the piece while performing.
It’s a gold ring with a massive sapphire in the middle, which he wore to catch the eyes of audience members and reflect stage lighting.

Now, it’s due to go under the hammer, with a starting bid of £65,765.14, reports Whats The Jam.
It’s also engraved with the star’s initials.
The auctioneers, M.S Rau, said: “It was gifted directly by Elvis to his longtime bodyguard and confidant, Dave Hebler, during a performance in the summer of 1972.
“In his accompanying letter, Hebler writes that Elvis removed the ring mid-performance, noting that it was slipping from his finger, and handed it to Hebler for safekeeping.
“After the show, when Hebler attempted to return it, Elvis told him to keep it for good luck.”

Another item owned by Elvis that M.S Rau are offering is his former medical ID bracelet, that was passed on from Elvis to Hebler, who was also a member of the Memphis Mafia.
He received the 10k gold bracelet from Presley during a meeting at Graceland; the famous home of the superstar.
The listing said: “The 10K yellow gold link bracelet features a polished ID plate engraved with the iconic performer’s name.”

The bracelet is on sale for £29,607.88 ($39,850).
Both listings are currently available to purchase, with the auctioneers based in New Orleans, US.
