A driver who crashed into a black panther on a mountain road has shared terrifying footage of the shock aftermath.
The man said he was cruising along a rural highway when the big cat suddenly ran out in front of his car.
He tried to take action but he hit the animal before quickly coming to a stop.

A clip of the aftermath shows the stocky black panther looking stunned but alive at the roadside.
Standing motionless and watching both the driver and his companion, the animal appears to have two fresh injuries on its face.
It pants heavily as the driver slowly moves away.
The man also filmed the damage caused to the front of his vehicle following the collision in Terengganu, Malaysia, on Monday (15 Jul).
The Chinese national shared the two clips on Facebook under the name ‘Ram Bo’, where they quickly went viral with 173,000 and 83,000 views, as reported by What’s the Jam.

One local commented: “Black panthers are more dangerous than tigers.”
