A clothes company dangled a man over an alligator-infested swamp to test the strength of its gear.
A hair-raising video showed the firm’s trousers being tied together to create a makeshift rope.
One end was clipped to a harness worn by a man called Morgan, while the other was connected to a helicopter.

The chopper then lifted him 300ft in the air and lowered him over a pool of water infested with huge alligators.
The video even showed one of the reptiles launching itself out of the swamp.
Eventually, Morgan was safely returned to the ground, and the death-defying test was declared a success.
The video was created by British agency adam&eveDDB for American clothes firm Columbia Sportswear, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Matt Sutton, of Columbia, said: “At Columbia, our gear is built not just for a perfect day but for whatever Mother Nature throws at you.

“With ‘Engineered for Whatever’, we’re showing people that our products are made to handle the extreme and unpredictable, with a healthy dose of humour and joy.
“By embracing the real and unexpected sides of adventure, we’re staying true to our legacy and charting a distinct and memorable path for our brand going forward.
“Since Day One, Columbia hasn’t cared about fitting in with everyone else.”

Joe Boyle, Columbia’s Executive Vice President, added: “Over the years, the outdoor category became a sea of sameness.
“Our new campaign brings us back to our roots, being unafraid to be different, and even a bit crazy.
“We’re going back to that irreverent, confident tone that helped put us on the map as a global brand.”
