A car passenger got the fright of her life when a boa constrictor lunged at her through the window.
Suellen Layza de Mattos Moreira and a colleague were driving down a dirt road when they spotted the huge reptile.
The footage shows her flinching, shrieking and nearly dropping her phone as the bulky snake suddenly struck.

Luckily, no contact was made and the pair could be heard laughing off the scare.
Suellen, an agricultural technician, told local media they had seen the boa trying to cross the road in Brasnorte, Brazil, and had stopped a few yards ahead to take a photo.
“Not long after, an elderly couple showed up and started prodding the snake, which agitated it,” she said.
“Then they left, and we drove a bit closer to film it… and that’s when everything happened.”
Experts say boa constrictors will lunge when they feel threatened, as reported by Whats The Jam.

In this case, the snake may have seen the people and the approaching vehicle as a risk.
The boa constrictor is the 10th largest serpent species in the world and the second largest in Brazil, with specimens reaching up to 4m (13ft) in length and weighing more than 45kg (99lb).
Despite their intimidating size, boas are not venomous and kill by constriction – wrapping themselves around their prey and suffocating it.
