Bulgari is selling the world’s thinnest watch for £417,000 and it is slimmer than a 5p coin.
The latest model of the brand’s Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC is just 1.7mm thick and comes with a titanium case.
The watchmakers held the world record in 2022 with their previous version of the Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC, according to What’s The Jam.

But just a few months later, Richard Mille nabbed the title with a 1.75mm watch when the brand came out with the RM UP 01.
Bulgari was desperate to regain its title and went back to the drawing board.
Yesterday (10 April), the company unveiled the 3D timepiece.
The Swiss-made watch comes with two tiny watch faces and is branded with the Bulgari logo.
Multiple tiny coggs are also visible on the surface.

Typically, these are underneath the face of the watch but this method allows it to be thinner.
“Breaking new ground in haute horlogerie,” said a spokesperson for Bulgari.
”The Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC is the slimmest mechanical watch ever produced.
