Waitrose shoppers can pick up a free coffee every day without spending a penny in store.
The money-saving perk is available to members of the supermarket’s free My Waitrose loyalty scheme.
Customers can simply walk into a participating branch, scan their membership card at a self-service drinks machine and select a complimentary hot drink.

Unlike some supermarket loyalty rewards, no minimum purchase is required and shoppers do not need to scan a receipt, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The tip was shared by money-saving expert Jordon Cox, better known online as Coupon Kid UK.
“Waitrose offer a perk getting a free hot drink inside their stores if you have a My Waitrose loyalty card.

“But here’s the kicker – there’s no minimum spend required.
“You can literally go in there to grab a hot drink and then leave paying nothing.”

Customers must take their own reusable cup because Waitrose does not provide disposable cups for the offer.
Jordon added: “Find a coffee machine in store, scan your loyalty card on the scanner, select a drink, and it’s yours.
“You can do this once a day, but you do need to bring in a reusable cup, as they don’t supply any paper cups.”

Waitrose’s current terms confirm members can claim one complimentary hot drink per day from the retailer’s branded self-service machines.
Qualifying choices include an Americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, double espresso or tea.
The freebie cannot be redeemed from a Waitrose café or another staffed serving area.
It is also limited to participating stores and is unavailable online, at petrol stations, Shell-operated branches or Welcome Break sites.
My Waitrose membership is free, although members must be aged 18 or over and live in the UK or Channel Islands.
Jordon estimated that someone who used the perk once a week instead of paying between £3 and £4 at a high-street coffee chain could save more than £100 a year.
His post attracted comments from fellow savvy shoppers.
One viewer asked: “You have to scan a receipt, or has that changed?”

Jordon replied: “No receipt needed! Just your loyalty card.”
Another person wrote: “Great tip.”

Jordon reminded shoppers: “They’d obviously like you to spend while you’re in there – but you don’t have to.”
