Tom Kerridge has been slammed for charging £84.50 for a steak at his new posh pub.
The TV chef runs The Chalk Freehouse after a name change.
The 52-year-old boasted about his new daily specials on offer on the menu.

But one of them is a 30 day dry aged fillet of beef on the bone.
The 390g piece of meat is served with tomato and herb butter and watercress.
But it will set diners back a whopping £84.50.
Some foodies slammed the price of the steak at the eatery in Chelsea, west London.

Dean Roberts said: “£84 for a fillet.”

This was echoed by another who added the same thing.
Roger Nix also said: “£84 quid for a fillet.
“You’re having a laugh.

“Oh no it’s Tom Kerridge that’s about right.”
Plugging the menu with head chef Tom De Keyser, Kerridge said: “Introducing The Chalk daily specials.
“The Chalk chalkboard.
“Tommo what have we got?
“I know there have been requests for steaks.”
De Keyser said: “So we’ve got fillet on the bone and we’ve got a bavette.
“So we’ve got a 390g piece of fillet, cooked on the bone, amazing.
“And it sits with a Vesuvius tomato and a Bloody Mary tomato butter.”
Kerridge has two Michelin stars and runs eight restaurants, as reported on What’s The Jam.
He said: “What’s a Vesuvius tomato?”
De Keyser added: “It looks like Mount Vesuvius when it comes in and you cut it up.”
Kerridge sampled the food and added: “I love that.
“And what steak have I got here?
“You’ve got bavette, so Aberdeen Hereford cross and that’s 225g.”
“I love a bavette steak, you’ve got two quality pieces of meat.
“Two different price points.
“One fillet cooked on the bone
“And one bavette, which is actually my favourite piece of meat.”
Bavette is the French name for flank steak and is the cheaper option, costing £29.50.

But some fans love the fillet steak despite the high price.
Shelby Morgan said: “Yummy yummy.”
Fellow chef Thomas Kirby added: “The food looks unbelievable, looking forward to a visit.”
In May last year, he increased the price of his Kerridge’s Fish Finger Sandwich from £18 to £27 at the Harrods restaurant.
Kerridge was charging £280 for his Christmas Box last December which is £65 more than the previous Yuletide.
