Star Wars toys and memorabilia including a Luke Skywalker action figure and signed lightsaber from Mark Hamil fetch a total of £145K at auction.
The Luke Skywalker figure was sold for an astonishing £6,125, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Sealed in its original packaging from 1980, the figure is equipped with a lightsaber accessory.

The Luke Skywalker figure is based on Mark Hamill’s portrayal of the character in the second of the original trilogy, The Empire Strikes Back.
A Gamorrean guard from the 1995 Star Wars power of the force toy line also fetched £2,817 at auction.
Accompanying the toy was a signed lightsaber based on Mark Hamil’s legendary character Luke Skywalker’s weapon in the famous franchise.
The signed piece sold for £1,470 at auction on April 25 2024, hosted by Vectis Auctions, in Teesside, UK.
Another figure to feature in the lot is the lesser known Yak Face, who only made a brief appearance in the iconic film franchise.

The character featured in the background of Jabba the Hutt’s palace in the 1983 film Return of The Jedi.
Despite having a much smaller impact in the movie, this vintage toy sold for £2,572 at auction.
A 47-year-old Jawa toy with a vinyl cape is also included in the lot and was bought for £2,450.

The auction featured over 670 lots of extremely sought after Star Wars memorabilia.
Lovers of the franchise from all over the world donated the best of their collections to the auction.
The entire auction reached a whopping £145,000 in sales.
