A scenic waterfall has defied gravity by flowing vertically up a hill.
Instead of falling towards the earth, the torrent streamed away from it.
But it wasn’t caused by special effects in a science fiction film.

It was the result of powerful summer winds that battered parts of Britain on Monday (4 August).
The startling sight was caught on camera at Wester Ross, in the Highlands, Scotland.
Elaine Glover, of Applecross, Walled Garden, witnessed the spectacle.
“It was crazy winds here in Applecross,” she told What’s The Jam.

“But never in August before.”
Locals were shocked by the sight, too.
Calum Sutherland said: “I’ve been to many waterfalls but not visited a waterup yet.”

Jim Smith added: “Uphill waterfalls.”
And Katy Huriwai-Ellis said: “Waterfall decided nope too windy I’m going back home.”
