Sainsbury’s cafe fried eggs have been mocked by customers and compared to “frisbees.”
Shopper Ricky Dawson had a £7 cooked breakfast at the supermarket’s eatery.
The ex-Paratrooper was so disgusted with the eggs – which he said were rock hard – he sent them back.

Ricky, now a firefighter, said: “I did send them back and to be fair the checkout girl did say they were awful and apologised.

“It cost me £7.
“I put it down to a cooking error.”
“I’m currently doing the rounds at other supermarket cafes to rate their eggs,” he told What’s The Jam.
“These eggs were a joke.”

He was served them at the Sainsbury’s cafe in Bognor Regis, West Sussex on Monday (24 Mar).

Other customers were left shocked by the state of the fried eggs.
Oaken Greenhill said: “Ask the waitress for runny yolks, those are frisbees mate.”

Another echoed this and added: “Frisbee.”
Jay claimed: “They’ve been sitting under the light for hours.”
Dilon added: “You show them lad.
He alleged: “Honestly Sainsbury’s café needs sorting out.”
Another said: “They are not eggs, they are throwing stars.”

But some defended the supermarket.
Dec added: “What do you expect, it’s literally £4.”
Another said: “Love when people pay pennies for food and point out how poor quality it is.”
Sainsbury’s has been approached for comment.
