An owl has been making a nightly return to the house of the hero who saved its life.
He pops by every evening to say thank you to kind-hearted Mark Foden who spent months nursing it back to health.
Mark Foden named the Tawny owl Tiberius after the Star Trek character Captain James Tiberius Kirk.

The 63-year-old nurtured the owl after it was found starving on a military barracks parade ground in Plymouth.

Now the thriving animal visits Mark at his nearby home.
The retiree manages to spot when the bird is popping by on his Ring outdoor camera.
The high-quality night vision picture captures heartwarming footage whenever Tiberius is around, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Mark, 63, said: “He was very emaciated I think and had not been fed for a while.

“So he was on his way out.
“At first he wouldn’t eat, it was very difficult to feed, and he wouldn’t take it himself.
“So I had to put it in his mouth and push it down, but as you can see, he grew into a fine fellow.

“When I released him, I just opened the door and I filmed it.
“At first he was quite resistant, he thought this was a bit odd and he kept coming back and forwards.

“Eventually he leaned over and he flew out and then he disappeared.
“And then 12 days later, I just looked on the Ring app and he’s sitting there and I thought, oh, wow, this is good.”
He isn’t the first winged visitor Mark has saved.
Back in 2018, he helped an injured jackdaw with a damaged wing that he found in his garden.
