Original artwork from The Simpsons is set to go under the hammer for up to £50,000.

The original pan production cel is from the season 11 episode “Hello Gutter, Hello Fadder” from 1999.

The artwork shows Homer Simpson alongside Lenny and Carl at Springfield’s Bowlerama.

Originally created only for exhibition, the piece is presented on its original Key Master hand-painted production background.

It is expected to fetch between £25,000 and £50,000.

Since making its debut in 1989, The Simpsons has become the longest-running American scripted primetime television series, as reported by Whats The Jam.

The animation treasure is among a collection of rare pieces heading to auction.

Also going under the hammer is a rare hand-painted concept piece from Disney’s Fantasia.

The artwork features Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice conducting the stars in the film’s famous “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” sequence.

Released in 1940, Fantasia remains one of Disney’s most celebrated animated films.

That piece carries a pre-sale estimate of between £9,000 and £18,000.

Also going under the hammer is original artwork from the Dragon Ball franchise as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.

The lot features an original production cel of Super Saiyan 3 Goku with matching douga from the episode “Goku’s Time Is Up”.

It depicts one of the character’s most iconic transformations and is expected to sell for between £7,500 and £15,000.

Fans of Kiki’s Delivery Service will also get the chance to bid on a Key Master setup from the beloved Studio Ghibli film.

Released in 1989 and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, the artwork shows Kiki visiting her friend Ursula and highlights the film’s hand-drawn artistry.

That piece carries an estimate of between £6,000 and £12,000.

Propstore’s two-day live sale is in London on 8 and 9 July.
