A 42-year-old Twix wrapper has been found completely intact after being dug up in a garden.
Steven Grice discovered the chocolate bar packaging of the iconic treat from 1982, whilst digging a hole.
The 55-year-old, decided to go and purchase a Twix from his local shop to compare the difference in the two wrappers.
The most notable difference is the price, back then it would go for 13p but fast forward 40 years and the chocolate treat has reached a whopping 75p.

Despite the price change the weight of the chocolate bar has stayed at 50 grams.
The true shock factor of the find is that despite the wrapper being submerged in the ground for the last four decades, it is in one piece.
Although it is slightly faded the wrapper shows minimal signs of breaking up, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Steven Grice, of St Helen’s, Merseyside said: “After finding this Twix wrapper when digging a hole, I don’t know what intrigues me more.

“Is it’s the fact that it’s still in pretty good condition although it’s from 1982.
“The Twix size has remained the same at 50g a pack.
“The price difference is probably relatively correct.

“The consumer still tears the corner the same way to retrieve the stick.
“Or is it that the logo has changed from a slant to the right, to a slant to the left, who knew?”
Locals were also left shocked by the discovery.
Wolfie Stamps stated: “I’m surprised they’re both 50 grams, quick dig up an old Freddo wrapper.”
Justin said: “I believe the Mars bar has followed inflation most accurately, at least that was true some years ago.
“It would stand to reason that Twix would be no different.”
Sean Stroud added: “I’m amazed they’re still the same size, that cheered me up.”

Tom Howell said: “They’ve kept the weight the same, but the amount of biscuit has slowly increased.”
Paul Bartley stated: “I think it’s more scary that the wrapper is still going strong after all these years.”
David Stewart added: “I’m also from 1982, that Twix wrapper is in better condition than me.”
