New Balance has been mocked for its new trainer loafers dubbed ‘grandad’ shoes
The sports brand’s 1906L footwear comes in silver and grey.
It is set to cost customers up to £155.
They have the appearance of sports shoes but are shaped like loafers.

Such shoes are smart slip-ons that are usually made with leather or suede.
The trainers are set to go on sale later this year, as reported by What’s The Jam.

The shoe was featured in Junya Watanabe MAN‘s Fall and Winter 2024 showcase.
Images have now been leaked online.

Shopper, Harry Cuthbertson said: “This is what happens when the ultimate dad shoe manufacturer gets too confident and thinks they can just branch out to grandad shoes willy nilly.”
Keilyn Kirkland added: “What is going on over at New Balance?”
