Miss England 2024 has been volunteering for St John’s Ambulance to help out the NHS and inspire others to join.
Milla Magee has been doing her bit for the nation by volunteering weekly.
During their meetings, Milla, 23, has been learning valuable life-saving skills such as CPR.

She has been focused on her project ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ with GoFarCPR.
With the ambulance service featuring at festivals and events across the country, Milla decided to join up with the team.
At this year’s Pride event in Newquay, she joined the Truro unit to help inspire others to join.
The beauty queen, who was crowned Miss England on 17 May, was demonstrating the skills she had learned from the team.
Milla told What’s The Jam: “I am so excited to be at Pride this year, in Newquay, along with St John’s Ambulance Truro unit, which I volunteer for. St John’s Ambulance is a huge part of our community.

“They are at festivals and social events, they help with minor first aid, and help with everything from broken bones to heat fatigue.
“They were a huge part of helping the NHS during Covid lockdown, we expect St John’s Ambulance to be there for the community, but don’t realise that they are predominantly made up of volunteers like myself and our team leader Nicola Ginns.
“I hope by being here today I can inspire some people to get involved with St John’s Ambulance and apply to volunteer.

“It’s a great community, and our regular weekly meetings are great fun, and you’re really coming together, meeting new people and learning amazing life-saving skills, like CPR.
“Something I am passionate about with my ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project, GoFarwithCPR.
“Let’s create a world of mini lifesavers, to help our NHS, and help to save lives.”
Pride began in Newquay on Saturday (20 Jul).
