McDonald’s customers are celebrating after the fast-food giant confirmed the return of one of its most requested menu items.
The chain has brought back its standalone Big Mac sauce dip as part of its latest limited-edition menu launch, with fans already declaring they’ll be stocking up while they can.
Available for just 30p, the famous sauce is being sold separately for a limited time alongside McDonald’s new summer menu, as reported by Whats The Jam.

While the launch also includes new burgers and returning desserts, many customers online appeared far more excited by the comeback of the iconic sauce.
Popular food page NewFoodsUK shared news of the menu launch on Facebook, prompting dozens of comments from fans eager to get their hands on the dip.
One shopper wrote: “Big Mac sauceeeee.”
Another person said: “Big Mac sauce – do you think they will let me buy a crate of it.”
A third fan simply commented: “oh goodness.”
One particularly enthusiastic customer added: “F*** YES ILL SAVE THEM ALL IN MY CUPBOARD xx”
McDonald’s described the returning item as “the ultimate fan favourite” and confirmed the dip consists of its signature Big Mac sauce packaged separately and sold on its own.
The sauce is available nationwide from Tuesday (9 June), while stocks last.
The return forms part of McDonald’s FIFA World Cup 2026 menu promotion, although many customers online appeared to have only one thing on their minds.
The famous burger sauce has developed a cult following over the years, with fans regularly calling for McDonald’s to sell it separately.
Now, for a limited time at least, those requests have finally been answered.
