A woman who used to sell houses that wouldn’t shift within days has revealed her secret skill which she’s turned into a full-time business.
Sam Ritchie always had a natural gift for detecting the invisible.
In fact, it has become such a skill that she’s gone from working as an estate agent to combining her knowledge of properties with her ability to sense and clear ominous energy.

Now, the 50-year-old helps people worldwide to cleanse their homes of any unknowing spirits and unpleasant smells as a full-time gig.
“I used to sell long-stagnant houses within days of me doing a viewing,” Sam told What’s The Jam.
“People used to ask me for my tips and tricks – but it wasn’t some fancy sales pitch.
“It was a genuine skill of which I had yet to realise my potential.”
Sam, who lives in Almeria, Spain, recalls seeing spirits from a young age.
At just 11, she moved into a new abode with her parents; which was already home to a pale woman who would appear at the end of her bed.
She said: “My mum was afraid of the spirit woman and wouldn’t go to bed without a light on.
“To me, she was just someone else who lived in the house.
“If I didn’t regularly speak with her, though, things would move around.
“I quickly learned that if I gave her attention, then everything stayed put.
“It wasn’t the first time I had seen spirits.
“Myself, my parents and my aunt truly believed everyone could see what we saw and heard.
“But we never spoke about it as it scared my mum.
“It turns out, nobody else we knew had the gift like we did.
“And it’s why I didn’t find this out until my twenties.”
In 2002, Sam purchased her own home along with husband, Barry, and their two kids.
While she was certain no other worldly figures were present, the atmosphere was heavy.
Sam said: “I confided in a friend who told me I wanted to try space-clearing.
“I’d never heard of it; but I gave it a go.
“I went from room-to-room, clapping and waving incense.
“Suddenly, images poured into my mind like a film.
“Scenes of the house’s history; some deeply unpleasant.
“It worked, though, as the atmosphere felt instantly lighter.
“When I described what I saw to my friend, she was shocked.
“Apparently people don’t see anything, they just feel a difference.”
It suddenly dawned on Sam that the reason the houses which never seemed to shift went flying like hotcakes after her intervention was because of her gift.
She had been unknowingly space-clearing each property she stepped foot in.
She said: “From then on, I cleared every property we lived in, as well as homes for friends.
“Over the years, I studied spiritual practices and trained as a certified Angel Guide.
“Now, I clear spaces remotely.
“The first house I space cleared remotely was a friend’s grandparents’ house after her tenants refused access for maintenance.
“She was desperate and didn’t know where else to turn.
“With just a floor plan and the address, images landed in my head – family parties, heartaches, even names.
“I was stunned when my friend told me that, within 24 hours, the tenants allowed builders in.”
Sam interchanges between remote and in-person work, depending on the location.
She begins by setting the intention and calling in her angels, as well as guides.
Then, Sam asks for information about the property, before performing a ritual that involves clapping, bells and singing bowls to change the energy.
Sage is lit and the smoke is spread to remove any negativity.
Finally, she asks for all bad energy to be removed and for entities to be sent to the light to continue their souls journey.
She also programmes the property to be happy, healthy and abundant for all those who occupy it.
And, in some cases, for a property to be sold fast or for a business to thrive.
She added: “To date, I’ve cleared properties in nine countries.
“We all want our loved ones in spirit to visit, but we want them to be happy, otherwise they cause problems.
“I help them to be free to visit, while being able to continue on their journey.
“And although I don’t sell homes anymore, I do help estate agents with homes that have been stuck on the market.
“It’s a true privilege to be able to use my gift to help the living – and the dead.”
