McDonald’s is bringing a host of menu items from around the world to its UK restaurants – including a burger loaded with a crispy potato rösti.
The fast-food chain’s World Menu Heist will return for a second year on Tuesday, September 22.
Customers will be able to try food inspired by McDonald’s menus in Germany, Canada, the UAE, the Netherlands, India, China and Australia.

The limited-edition range includes burgers, seasoned fries, cheese-filled bites, a new McFlurry and two breakfast McMuffins.
One of the headline additions is Germany’s Big Rösti, priced at £6.99 or £8.99 as a medium meal.
It contains a British and Irish beef patty topped with a crispy potato rösti, streaky bacon, cheese, baconnaise and cheese sauce in a glazed sesame-topped bun.

The Maple and Cheddar Chicken from Canada combines a crispy chicken breast fillet with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, two types of onion, mustard maple sauce and citrus mayonnaise.
It will cost £7.29 on its own or £9.29 as a medium meal.

McDonald’s is also bringing back the Mac and Cheese Triangles from the UAE following what the company described as their “hugely successful” appearance last year.
The breadcrumb-coated triangles are filled with macaroni pasta and cheddar cheese sauce and come with a ketchup dip.
They will be joined by Paprika McShaker Fries from the Netherlands.

Customers tip a sachet of smoky paprika seasoning into a special bag with their fries before shaking them to add the flavour.
Those looking for something sweet can order Canada’s S’mores McFlurry, inspired by the campfire treat traditionally made with chocolate, marshmallows and biscuits.
The drinks menu will include Guava x Sprite Zero from India, which combines the sugar-free fizzy drink with guava-flavoured syrup over ice.
A sweet and savoury Szechuan sauce from China will also be available for dipping.

Breakfast customers can choose between two Australian-style additions.
The Chicken and Bacon McMuffin contains crispy coated chicken, bacon, mayonnaise and cheese in a toasted English muffin.
A Chicken and Egg McMuffin will also join the menu.
The World Menu Heist first arrived in the UK and Ireland in October 2025 and gives customers the chance to try McDonald’s products normally sold in other countries without travelling abroad.
Last year’s range included the Maple BBQ and Bacon Double Quarter Pounder from Canada, Australia’s Pineapple McSpicy and Garlic and Black Pepper McNuggets from Japan.
The returning Mac and Cheese Triangles were among the previous items.
The Big Rösti, Maple and Cheddar Chicken and Guava x Sprite Zero are due to remain until October 19, while most of the remaining range will be available until November 16.

Prices may vary between restaurants.
