Lionesses M&S clothing for Euro 2025 slammed by shoppers for being ‘drab’ and looking like ‘chefs uniform’

The official Marks and Spencer’s clothing line for the Lionesses Euro 2025 campaign has been slammed by shoppers.

One infuriated customer likened the clobber worn by stars such as Leah Williamson to a ‘chefs uniform’.

The £35 Tailored Asymmetric Waistcoat was compared to uniforms worn in restaurant kitchens due to the off centred buttons.

The entire collection made up of beige and black items has been labelled ‘drab’.

The Lionesses squad heading to Euro 2025 posed for a squad photo in their new gear, which was met with some polarising reviews.

Eagle-eyed shoppers spotted that the players themselves may not be fans of the gear judging by their facial expressions.

One footy fan spotted the ‘look on their faces’ with the majority of the team displaying a blank look.

The M&S collection features a total of nine items including tops, shorts and trousers.

Ranging from £59 to £29 the clothing line is on sale in their stores nationwide and online.

The minimalistic pieces are equipped with England badge labels, as reported by Whats The Jam.

Lioness fan Trisha Lynch said: “Smile ladies, I’m not keen on the style or colour and by the look on their faces, neither are some of the England squad.”

Ray Allen added: “Looks like they’ve all raided the men’s section. What’s wrong with smart dresses or don’t M&S have a women’s section anymore? Home by the Quarter Finals.”

Jessie said: “Why are half of them having an awkward school picture day.”

Quinn said: “Why are they wearing chef uniforms?”

Meghan labelled the clothes: “Intern summer fits.”

Rhys added: “This isn’t just any England team, it’s an M&S England team.”

One shopper said: “I love the team but that is a drab collection. M&S need to get themselves into the modern world.”
