Lidl is giving away almost half a million pounds worth of shopping vouchers to customers this week – but you’ll need a little luck to get one.
The budget supermarket is handing out 25,000 vouchers worth £19.66 each ahead of England’s hugely anticipated semi-final, giving lucky shoppers the chance to knock money off their next shop.
The total giveaway is worth almost £500,000.

However, there’s one catch.
Rather than every eligible shopper receiving a voucher, customers will instead be entered into a prize draw, as reported by What’s The Jam.
To be in with a chance of winning, shoppers must spend at least £10 in store before Wednesday 15 July, scan their Lidl Plus app at the checkout and then enter the prize draw through the app.
The lucky winners will receive a digital £19.66 Money Off Your Shop Coupon via Lidl Plus by Friday 17 July.
The vouchers are a nod to 1966, the year England’s men’s team famously lifted the World Cup on home soil.

Lidl says the promotion is designed to help fans stock up on matchday essentials before the Three Lions’ semi-final.
The vouchers will arrive just ahead of the weekend, meaning winners can put the savings towards another grocery shop before the tournament reaches its conclusion.
A total of 25,000 winners will each receive a £19.66 voucher, with the giveaway worth close to £500,000 overall.
